What do you like?

Having done some traditional craft work myself, including blacksmithing, I love good photos of craftsmen at work.

What would you improve?

I have to say that this doesn't do it for me, though. The subject is all but hidden in the smoke and there is no action in the shot. He does seem to be holding something, maybe even displaying the whatever-it-is for the camera, but I can't tell. A lower angle perhaps, showing the smith's face, with more contrast would help to make a more memorable image I think.
