- Description:
- This photo of actress Jessica B. Kemejuk was taken at the Metro Station. The train was leaving and the sun reflected off of the lens adding this flare and sun spots. The stillness of her pose combined with the motion blur of the departing train, resulted in this composition.

by Aldor 4 Januarynice lighting and stunning expression
by shailrane 4 January@MichaelLynch That's true too :-)
by Aljan 4 January in reply to MichaelLynchcool snap and great lighting on the hair...she's a bit centered, but the expression compensates those minor issues
by mayukh 4 January@Aljan : Thank you. I appreciate your constructive feedback. A little more panorama may be interesting indeed. Some more motion blur would certainly give more focus on Jessica, but I like the fact that you can see someone sitting in the train carriage as it moves by.
by MichaelLynch 4 January in reply to Aljan@luc : Thanks for your feedback. The halo around the face was purely from the reflection of light off of the steel train. Complete creative accident :)
by MichaelLynch 4 January in reply to lucvery nice! I love how you kept the movement of the train! Also like the clarity and colours of the girl. The halo on her face really works here i think. Love it! What created the halo?
by luc 3 JanuaryWhat do you like?
Really nice, this shot is so in balance. The light is coming from behind, but the front light is perfect too. The lens flare does really well here. It makes it a little magic in combination with the metro in the back. Awesome!
What would you improve?
I would position her even a bit more to the right and might even make it even a little bit more panorama. The metro could even use more motion blur. These two things could add some more drama to it.
