I've been quite busy preparing to move lately, so participation on Focussion has slowed for me. But I had to get some night shots of my favorite scene in Bristol before I move away. I personally see two things in this photo that will more than likely bring back for another shot, but I thought a few tips from you would help as well!

    Neat image the reflection on the water is really great, the image gets very busy on the top half so if you reshoot try to crop some out, well done

    the lights on the water look great and the boat at the other side is perfectly line up

    What would you improve?

    the lights in the corners are bring the focus away, maybe needs a crop

    I love the colors you capture and the barge gives it a nice subject. The long exposure worked beautifully. Great capture!

    What would you improve?

    I wonder what a 16:9 crop would look like - could give it a more cinematic feel and you could get rid of the light that @Ajey mentioned.

    Thanks @Ajey. I totally agree! That huge light is quite distracting. I thought about cropping it out but that would have taken away from the composition of the dock, so when I go back I need to take this shot from a few steps forward.

    Hey Cool picture.. One thing I would suggest to remove the light from left side of the frame . then slightly missed the center..
