- Pandav Caves was built in 500 BC. It is believed to date variously from 6000 BCE to 500 Before the Christian Era. According to the Indian epic poem Mahābhārata, The waterfall gets its name from a local legend that in times gone by the five exiled Pandava brothers of the epic poem Mahabharata visited this region. Remains of caves and shrines that commemorate this legend can be seen around the pool below..

@kanonkop yes you are absolutely right. I caught this image when we climbed the unexplored cave.After we explored all of the usual passages we climbed down to check out the beauty of Nature. I would like to thank you again for your assistance and guidance in this matter. Definitely I will recompose it when will I be able to visit this land of antiquities again...Thanks a Million!

Khajuraho is an world hearitage site. I thought you would be interested to visit the land of monuments which is in India
really cool story, but the photo just isn't doing it justice i'm afraid..
by kanonkop 11 JanuaryI would rather have exposed for the cliffs / lake, as it is blown out and you can't really make it out. the plant is also blocking the view and not adding much to the composition for me, so i would recompose without it
