- I'm not sure if I should have taken this shot from a higher angle or if needs some cropping. I think it's a pretty good portrait, the tattoo and the pose and stare give a little more context to the girl in my opinion.
I would love to know what you think about it - Tag(s):

This is an amazing shot.. I can feel the pain she has.

You should add just a tad more contrast!

I quite like the crop. Nice lighting. :)
12 April 2012What would you improve?
I'd increase the contrast a bit to bring out her tattoos. :)

I think the lighting is good and presenting the image in B/W makes it edgier. I do find myself wanting to study the ink more and experience some disappointment at it being cut off somewhat. Very subjective view, though, I'm sure. d:¬{D

I really like this. It has an edgy look to it and b&w works really really well. I like the girls good eye contact with the camera and don't think it needs to be cropped differently as I think the pose and effect work really well.

I think it may have looked better if it was lit from the underside as opposed to from the top as the lower side of her face is really dark. I don't like the earring nor the white nail varnish as I find them too 'obviously' feminine - you know she is a woman but the tattoos and vest give her a slightly masculine look which works well.
