Good thing you had your camera with you! Nice shot.
30 NovemberWhat would you improve?
I think simple post-processing would go a long way in this shot. Maybe a slight s-curve contrast, some sharpness, and some vibrance and clarity for a slight pop.

What do you like?
That is a beautiful baby dear and a beautiful shot. I love how gentle and peaceful it is.
1 May 2012What would you improve?
I would crop the photo a little more so that the Fawn is brought forward a little.

Wonderful capture! I got lucky with capturing a wolf like this on my first day in Yellowstone years ago. I can see this appearing in NG. d:¬{D

Brilliant picture a lovely moment captured. I love the Daisy's in the picture probably more than the bambi, particularly that there's is a real sense of depth throughout the image.

With a little editing you can enhance this image at a minimum I think perhaps lightening bambi a little bit would be needed and then you have a choice to either pump up all the colours and contrast or to make a more softer feel (I think soft is probably the way to go)... Great picture.

What do you like?
I would imagine that this shot sums up most peoples idea of Bambi. So who says that wildlife has to be absolutly sharp.
20 April 2012What would you improve?
I wouls inprove nothing as i believe that the shot works as it is not so much a "classic "wildlife shot but a capture of most peoples idea of Bambi.WD

The photograph says more than I ever could. Amazing.
20 April 2012What would you improve?
I wouldn't suggest any improvements, there is no need. I think that any imperfections are what make this so great, because to me it represents nature and its ability to bend the rules.

I love the look on his face, he may have just spotted you, but he's too busy cleaning. I love the flowers in the image as well, it makes it look authentic
20 April 2012What would you improve?
Maybe slightly adjust the contrast, to make him stand out a bit more... other than that, perfect image!

This is a gorgeous picture. You were so lucky to be in the right place at the right time. I don't get distracted by the flowers as I'm too busy checking out that wonderful creature. The soft feel of the picture really does make you feel like it was a lazy hazy summer day...just lovely! Well done.
20 April 2012What would you improve?
I wouldn't improve a single thing.

What do you like?
Very cute photo of the fawn. Good lighting.
20 April 2012What would you improve?
The blurred & over-exposed flowers in the front on a bit distracting, but this is still a very nice photo.

justincbongers@ViewsOfParadise Ya I see the overexposed and blurred flowers but it was the only lense I had that could get me in close enough without cranking up the ISO, which in turn gave it a shallow depth of field (bitter/Sweet), also I exposed the fawn properly in the shadow which left the flowers in the sun overexposed. Not sure if I could have done allot about that with out cutting off the feet of the fawn which would have killed the photo altogether. What do you think? Even if I did change the lense to a prime I think the little gaffer would have taken off.

I think it's perfect, and I'm very picky :)
I may even use it as my desktop background!
justincbongers@wbadecs Sounds good, I'm not much of an editor but I could give it a shot. Thanks for the input.
