Brilliant idea, and a very powerful composition, I especially like the simplicity of the background it draws you to the fly.

A little more definition of the fly would make the image even better, to bring out the detail in the wings body and head....but great shot!

theres a couple of darkish areas on the fly (on the abdomen), some fill light would help. (could be my screen as well)

Super composition and some good detail.Good eye .I take it this shot was not made using a macro lens so the shot as presented with the equipment at hand is very good

Maybe go up an F-stop so that more of the fly is in subject.
