What do you like?
I like the re-crop too. You sense the connection between the monk and Buddha and then you focus on all the stuff in between - when you analyse this photo you realise just how spiritual it all is! Well done.
What would you improve?
With the new re-crop I wouldn't change a thing.

What do you like?
like the mix of styles in this one, from the monks praying with all his religious artifacts, which has been done for centuries,to the what seems to be a tv in the corner,a bag of compost, electric fan and somewhat naff lights, great shot, todays society
What would you improve?
probably crop the left side out of it, to focus on the monk and buddha, but i like it as it is also.

i think you make a good point re cropping the left. initially i didn't want to crop to close in on the monk and budha, as i wanted it to be clear that they in a cave. but, i think enough of the cave will still be visible on the right, if i crop the left..

What do you like?
Impressive frame. You took whole atmosphere with lighting, colors and things on surroundings. Very rich environment to shot.
What would you improve?
Relation between monk and budha is some loosy: Things on lower left too distracting and not related to your subject matter (it's better to crop). If monk and budha well confronted it would be better to express relation. To solve confrontation matter you could move to back of the monk to got budha straight.
kanonkop@GirlMick thanks, yeah, you totally right regarding the recrop
