G'day Terry, What a great subject for a B&W! This type of photograph does not require a "centre of focus" as it is a "field shot", therefore the whole scene is subject. That forest of masts against the black sky and the great reflections on that black water look terrific and you have caught incredibly good detail in all the craft. A joy to view.

I suggest cloning out the tips of the mast reflections that touch the bottom edge. This will retain everything within the frame and makes it look like you took more care with your composition. ;-)

I really love this. This is one of those photos that is just perfect for b&w. Although one of the below comments mentioned not having a center of focus (no where for the eyes to be drawn), I feel like that's okay in this shot, because of the consistency and repetitive pattern of the boats. I especially love the extra flare the lights on the boats were given :)

.it feels over clarified and the starkness of the black and white is quite harsh. it hurts my eyes a little and i find it hard to find something to focus on.
