Maybe shoot from a higher angel, or have a strong focus point with minimum depth of field not so much focus on the hands. Gawjus photo thought!

This is perfect! The photo is so well composed! The shine in the eye is brilliant! The matching blues create a fun atmosphere throughout the photo. The contrast is perfect for the mood and the colour stands out elegantly.

I would roll the girls sleeve up so that the jumper doesn't spoil the shot. I would crop the photo at the thrid finger on the left hand so that the bottom right hand corner hair is out. However this is only what i'd do, your take was perfect and the shot is beautifully composed.

I would have cropped the bottom of the photo. I don't think the shadow on the eye was necessary.

I love the composition, the idea, and the fact that her nails are the same color as her eyes.

Do you ever do much editing in post? You might be able to use a dodge tool to lighten her eye, and make it "pop" or stand out better (which would also show off the color of her eye too). Right now her nails are brighter than her eyes, but really the focus of the picture is her eye.
