I like that the lake serves as a huge mirror, reflecting the trees branching over it
The colors were enhanced the right way as they look amazing and didn't ruin the beauty of the picture14 June 2012What would you improve?
I would've lifted the angle of the camera a bit more, to allow the eyes to rest in the middle of the picture instead of the top part of the picture.

I would have cropped a bit of the bottom of the image and show more of the sky, perhaps then it would become more calmer.

@wbadecs and @frank Definitely appreciate the feedback! I loved the scene so much, because of the colors and reflection; but you're right that it there is probably too much to look at, and I need a better center of attention. Hopefully I can go back next fall and try again :)

While the colours are amazing and the reflection glass-like there is no real sense of depth here, it's one of those images that look fantastic in real life but the photo does not give it justice, perhaps a shot in portrait might of looked good or even that the reflection contained a reflection of you taking the image now that would of been cool...
