What do you like?
I like the slow shutter speed, the colors and the dramatic sky. The guy's pose is great too - adds to the drama.

I'd like to see less of the building and more of the sun. There is something on the bottom right corner that's distracting. The man is centered but I'd like to see him follow the rule of thirds. Add some contrast too. ;)

Oh and crop the building out, it will completely give impact on the sky and person :) Well done

Changes to make: Using windows live photo gallery:
Contrast fully up
Shadows and highlights turned all the way down.
Colour temperature down to the bottom.
Tint all the way to the top
Saturation ever so slightly down.
LOOK AT THE DIFFERENCE! AMAZING! -

What do you like?
well Im honest to with you,its a fast world but how you can show in this image the fast things ,,,i dont understand at ,maybe the sun who moves around us ,the earth that 24 hours finish the day, make a thinking more deep about this subject an after that you makes a photo more significant ,,,it so much to think ,that the years also goes fast ,even when you wake up the world just woke up so fast than you ,,-makes a photo more impresive ,even i like the subject ,,,,the photo is a bit confuse to the people who is very sensitive as me ,sorry,,creation also shows who you are put love and more significant things around you and others ,to show in photography,,,we are not alone ,,,we are here to help each other to grow in this art ,if you want to show the fast movements in the world ,,you have so much to talk in photos ,,,

13 May 2012thank you so much i agree to the fact that the bottom right is distracting .. if you give it a closer look you'll see how perfectly the shadow moves to the distraction .. which i presume got you atention to the bottom right :)
I am new to photography .. if you can just tell me what the rule of thirds is i'll aplly the same to some future images .
regards..
kavian@aakil The rule of thirds is a rule of composition (placement of elements in a photo). Copied from Wikipedia: "The guideline proposes that an image should be imagined as divided into nine equal parts by two equally-spaced horizontal lines and two equally-spaced vertical lines, and that important compositional elements should be placed along these lines or their intersections Proponents of the technique claim that aligning a subject with these points creates more tension, energy and interest in the composition than simply centering the subject would."
13 May 2012Example (look at how the lines follow the tree and the horizon):
