I like that the clouds look like they're in motion while the background is relatively constant
The sparks bouncing off of the ground give this shot extra flavor
The angle of the arch is not conventional, thus giving the shot something special.14 June 2012What would you improve?
I'd try to remove the photographer's shadow from the shot in a photo editing software.

Oh - I love light painting - there are a million creative ways to go with it. I like the shape of the arc and the large size of the light swirl compared to the size of the figure. I really admire you for having the skills to even attempt to pull this off, much less doing it so well!

I can see the shadow of the tripod/photographer in the right bottom. If possible, adjust contrast/exposure settings to eliminate this. Small yellow spot on the middle left edge could be cropped out.
