What do you like?
I really love the sharpness of the image! How you can see every texture and detail! They are very intriguing to stare at. I think you nailed the black and white.

I don't mind the blackness of the background, the only thing that to me is a bit distracting, or perplexing, is the negative space in the upper left hand... the rest of the photo is so intense that it leaves me a bit wanting. Great pic!

What do you like?
Although unconventional and somewhat surprising I quite like the hard contrast between the birds and the background while still keeping most of the detail in the birds.

The background is pitch black on the left side while there are some leafs in the other parts. I think it would be better with some leafs on the left too. A completely dark background doesn't work as well.
I don't know if you had other options to crop or frame the birds. Maybe a little wider or slightly different angle would help. -
