The bw is a good choice, emphasizes the light in the eyes and the beauty of the model.

I agree, a tighter crop, similar to the thumbnail would be stunning. If posing the model, adjust the position of the front arm to allow the full smile, or at least all of the upper teeth.

Firstly, good job at choosing this photo to be black and white. Secondly, beautiful model. I like how the eyes are shown through, what I might guess is, the morning rays.
