What do you like?
I love this photo, this girl reminds me alot of myself. The shot is brilliant. Nice colours, focus etc.
Helpful 1 18 June 2012What would you improve?
the bottom line is a bit distracting, it's a shame that the blurred edge, of whatever it is closest to the camera, cannot be cropped because of her feet ):

What do you like?
Dynamic shot, nice composition. I prefer this rather than bw altough I love bw. It have got the story, dynamic also all in all a good one Amigo.
15 June 2012What would you improve?
I think that the red border is not necessary.

Hiya Gabor, Glad you could join me at my table at the Crèma checking out the passing parade. My warmest Aussie thanks for your inspirational and encouraging feedback. Thank you too for your inout regarding the border. In retrospect I think I should have used the colour of the jacket as that red is too dominant. GB D!

What do you like?
I'm liking the colored version more as the color of her hair match the color of her stockings, the color of her jacket also gives an accent to the colors she's wearing. i find it fascinating that thought she sticks to a few colors, her key chain is just bursting with different colors.
15 June 2012What would you improve?
if the background was a bit blurry it would direct more attention to the subject ( the girl )

What do you like?
wow I think I like this more in color too! Really pretty. perfect amount of processing too
Helpful 1 15 June 2012What would you improve?
that lower right corner is even more distraction in color. The compositional balance would be better without it as well.

What do you like?
Love the pop of the reds. Background adds interest and context to the shot. Nice capture on the subjects position, love the purposeful stride in the legs and the position of the arms.
10 June 2012What would you improve?
Curiously, the ground doesn't look wet.

Nice candid shot. There is a lot to like. The keys in her hand holding the jacket closed and the hand holding her hood over her head as she walk nonchalatly across in the rain. Not much to change. The bottom of the photo would be nice to crop out but obviously that doesn't work in this shot and to get set for another one like this is pretty much impossible. Anyways nicely done Dennis.

Ciao Steve, Welcome to the Crèma on this wet, wet winter day. Max thanx for your insightful and encouraging feedback and input mate.
I was going to desaturate that bottom area but forgot all about it. I left that grey shape in to add balance to the image but ya never know, I might get jack of it one day and clone it out.

kanonkopas @senoch said, there is a lot to like here. your subject looks interesting (must say, you have funky cool people in your nick of the woods). but i also find the background interesting to look at as well. the rain really adds to the pic!!

think i prefer this to the B&W one. -

Carumba Brett, Muchos gracias amigo for your return Crèma visit and your most encouraging feedback. While I always lean toward b&w for my candid work, I kept this colour version mainly because I like how the rain slightly desaturates the colours and gives the image a touch of retro. GB D!

18 June 2012Va va voom Vanessa, So nice to see you pop into the Crèma. Ooooodles of thanks for your effervescent feedback and input.
(I have redone the original and removed that "shape" lower left and desaturated that out of focus area across the bottom. I think I will go back in and completely remove it and rebuild the heel of her boot). GB D!
