I agree with vincent, the colors that are there don't do as much for the photo as what black and white would ( I think I worded that right?). Also I'm not sure what is in front of you in this image because you have shot it pretty high but if you could get within a few feet of the first set of rocks and shoot low it might add allot to your foreground. I'm big for shooting as low as possible as long as it doesn't ruin the image.

What do you like?
Very fine landscpae love the horizontal lines ending up in the rule of thirds.
The lighthouse gives an amazing touch as well.27 June 2012What would you improve?
Colours are a bit too dark for my opinion, of course it´s a nightshot with trypod so you have the opinion to jump up to iso 200, close the apperature to f16 (wich woud make an even bigger star-effect at the lighthouse) and try times up to 1 or two minutes if you can.
I imagine a black and white picture could turn out very dramatic beacuse there´s a lot of contrast and blacks in this image.
greetings
wbadecs@justincbongers @VincentRibbers I agree with both of your comments actually I was not sure about the image...there are elements I like but overall does not really draw you in, probably as the rocks are going horizontally so feels a bit flat...the image is a lot lighter but I have toned it down. I have lots of black and white photos so just wanted to do something different... Perhaps did not pay off this time.
