    What do you like?

G'day Mirhan, so nice to see this model again. She has touch of the urchin about her that gives her such charm.
The effect of using her hair like this is a great idea. No wonder you chose that title. The lighting, processing and tones are gorgeaous. Well done to you both.

    What would you improve?

To me the eyes are just a little over sharpened however that would probably not show up on a matt or semi-gloss print.

Great clarity and expression in the eyes! Like how it's a bit mysterious with the hair covering part of the face.

Great portrait. The expression on her eyes are amazing. I would also prefer to sharpen only the eyes and let the rest a bit softer, so I don't like the grainy dark part around her right eye.

I think this is a faboulous image, beautifully done.
Dont really see the issue with the grain, i believe it is acceptable. Awesome work.

    Yep! 100% truth! :-)

Yep! 100% truth! :-) Thanks for your tips!!

    What do you like?

really awesome concept, dig the way you've wrapped her head with the hair.

    What would you improve?

for me, its a but to grainy, specifically around the eyes and on the hair on the nose. guessing its from the sharpening

@Mirhan You're welcome. In portraits it is diffucult to manipulate the depth of field. And I do think that the depth of field is fantastic. However, I think you sharpened the entire image to get this great sharpness in the eyes, whereas it would also be possible to selectively sharpen the area around the eyes and leave the hairs a bit softer?

@roderikk Thank you for your critical view ! I appreciate that!
I agree with you about the round chatchlights that would have been nicer.
the sharpness right on the hair is simply the depth of focus, and I do not like to manipulate the depth of field of my photos :-)

    @ All: Thanks!

    What do you like?

Great shot! I love the sharpness, and the story you are trying to tell.

    What would you improve?

I think the catchlights in the eye would have looked nicer if they were round instead of square, an perhaps a little smaller.

Also, there are some stray hairs on the right side of the picture that distract a little: 1) the vertical hair all the way on the right side of the frame, but 2) also the sharpness of the hairs in the right bottom and top corners pull my eyes away from the subject matter.

I really like the light and the use of the hair. At first "Tangled" came to my mind, but then it started moving towards a mask. As it is taught: "An image must tell a story."
