- Description:
- On the west side of Vancouver island, The word "storm" in late November is a word to keep an ear open for. imagine, walking along beautiful Botanical Beach in typhoon rain, 80km winds, and clouds dark enough to dim the day into dusk. All this while walking through a forest with 100 foot tall sitka spruce trees, and green salal bushes spreading as far as the eye can see. as if this wasn't enough for a great experience, imagine, walking out to the cliff side at the edge of the forest and being there at the perfect time to witness the calming of the storm. Safe on the cliff from the 30 foot waves crashing down below you, and the storm clouds retreating to reveal to you the beauty and wonder of this planet. then taking a moment to capture it with a piece of technology. makes me think of all the lovely people on this planet who use the same piece of technology to capture earths personality to share it, for all that call her their home.

Helpful 1 9 February 2012What would you improve?
Looks like you have quite a few dust spots on your image. You need to get rid of those, and take your camera in for cleaning.
