What do you like?
in spite of the tilted horizon i like this image for the strong sense of texture and colours. also like the fact that it is up close enough to feel "in your face".
What would you improve?
i'm not experienced enough to know what improvements could be made...
This nice, although the horizon is off tilt. I like the perspective because it gives the boat a sense of power in the image, and a feel that your in the scene. I would also use a polarizer here
by fredclarkphotography 16 February@CraigHarris Thanks for the feed back. ops I did miss the horizon on this on. And I did not have a polarise lens on this camera I use for this shot it was a freinds camersa I was playing with a pentax k10. I have about 200 shots of this ship I took with my canon using a polariser. funny thing while taking shots I got stuck in the mud for about 5 minutes. I will post some more shot of this ship later. I also want to go back and get more when the tide is in and there are some good storm clouds to add to the effect.

Powerful image with plenty of detail in the rust.
What would you improve?
Seems to be shot at eye level, you might have found a more enthralling composure by moving up or down to shoot a different perspective.
Horizon is not level.
A circular polariser would have improved saturation of sky and reduced reflections on the mud.
nice rusty look
