@ViewsOfParadise mmm didn't realise photomatix 4 was out. i like photomatix, though i haven't really played with to many other programs.

its Afrikaans, it developed from the Dutch who where the first European colonizers of SA

@kidloco ... Thanks for the compliment. I would have likes a much wider view also but could not accomplish this as I was on a dock with boats around me ... which limited me on how wide I could take the photo. :(

i'm afraid i'll have to use a local term to describe what i think about this, because there isn't the english equivalent - 'ek smaak dit stukkend'. basically means really cool (although translated directly it means 'i taste it broken' haha)

this is the type of image that i dig in HDR style. its so warm, and has lots of character. i like the sharpness of the land, with the smooth sea as well.

what program are you using for hdr?
