by DennisG 8 April in reply to Jackx1Hellooooo Jack, Glad you made it to the Motocross meet mate. Lots of high octane thanks for your great feedback. GB D!
You reall y got this one right on the money, the irst rider higher in the frame the back rider lower in the frame and the DOF following the composition perfectly. Great work Dennis.

by DennisG 4 April in reply to mayukhG'day Mayukh, good to see you checking out the Motocross action.
Loads of thanks for the great wrap. (Don't get jealous, get even).
With a focal length of 260mm on a 100-300mm lens and a focal distance of about 100m together with an f/5.6 aperture, that's the best depth of field I could do without faking it in Photoshop.

What do you like?
I like the moment,that's nice !
What would you improve?
a more precise focus, there is no rider sharp.
What do you like?
boy o boy! am so freakin jealous...this is so cool
What would you improve?
a shallower depth could bring out something new...but this snap is perfect, change nothing
What do you like?
really good shot and amazing timing, motion blur is expected but it is hardly visible here :)
What would you improve?
nothing - it looks perfect to me :)
What do you like?
Riders are frozen in space, yet the tyres show motion blur; really well composed, nice sense of adrenaline.
What would you improve?
I'd prefer a shallower DOF to make the focused rider really stand out and pop off the background.
Your back, wondered were people go. Nice shot, the contrast is nice and riders really stand out, great depth perfect
by fredclarkphotography 23 FebruaryExcellent capture. It's all about the timing and yours is perfect!
