I planned to upload a different picture but I just got my new lens today so I grapped my camera and ran outside to catch my cat (the most obvious and photogenic subject)

Wow, I'm impressed by this lens. It's the new(ish) 50mm f/1.8G from Nikon. The aperture is mindblowing (well, for me it is.. haha) and the sharpness makes my kit-lens look like something from Toys"R"Us! ;)

Enough about my amazing new toy... I really like this picture of my cat, even though he's looking away.
