I think his is a great photograph! You've captured such a sweet moment and I love the black and white choice here. The compositional aspects you've included are great as well (rule of thirds, 3 fence bars...)

I'd crop just a tiny bit more off the bottom so the fourth fence bar that peeks into the photo in he bottom left corner is compley gone.
