What do you like?
I think the flower in the forground is the star of this shot. Quite literally in its' shape. The colour is great, really pops. The DOF is also impressive.

Although I do like the repitition of the flower into the background, I feel the background flower looks too electric, (if that makes sense.) I also think the flower would have stood out more if you had caught more of the green foliage in the background.

What do you like?
I like the simplicity of this capture ,I like the composition ,not ever the nature is perfect ,and I love the natural position of the flower in the nature here -

i think you shot this way ,for me its interesting comparative elements playing in the nature ,as natural they are ,maybe you chose this because you like the way they were ,in other shots you can choose other angles to play on ,or cropping and leave this flower alone too

Though this is a great photo, I feel that it has no context. No feeling. No reason to actually be a photo. It's simply a flower, with not much to say.

shreya100@sepiashutters art doesn't always have to be meaningful. I do it for fun and the fact that you found it great is reason enough to click it.

What do you like?
I like the colors and the way the flower is repeating itself in the background.

I think you can take a little bit of the left side, so the flower would come a bit closer to the edge of the frame (not touching it!). I think your composition will improve.
Another thing is that it looks a little soft. I don't know if you did that on perpose, to go for the soft feel.. or if it's maybe the resizing.. But if it's not either of those two things you can try and sharpen it by using a high pass sharpening. Well if you have PS or PSE that is. It's very easy to do and it gives great results. But. never over do it, because it will be not so nice :)
If you have PS,
The first thing you need to do is duplicate the Background layer
Next, we need to change the blend mode of the duplicate layer from "Normal" to "Overlay, go up to the Blend Mode options in the top left corner of the Layer Styles dialog box, click on the down-pointing arrow to the right of the word "Normal", and select Overlay from the list
Then you apply the High Pass filter. To do that, go up to the Filter menu at the top of the screen, choose Other down near the bottom, and then choose High Pass
Then you choose radius, start with one, it's a bit different for every shot, and you can ajust later. NEVER OVERDO IT. Normally it's the larger the file, the higher your radius. (later you can lower it by ajusting the opacity)
Now we ajust..
If you want to increase the sharpening amount, go back up to the Blend Mode options in the top left corner of the Layers palette and change the blend mode from "Overlay" to Hard light.
If you want to reduce the amount of sharpening, change the blend mode from "Overlay" to Soft Light
Another simple way to fine-tune the sharpening is by adjusting the duplicate layer's opacity value. Lowering the opacity value will reduce the amount of sharpening. You'll find the Opacity option in the top right corner of the Layers palette
That's it.. Now again, I don't know if you want to use it for this image, but maybe you can use it for other images, or maybe others who reed this will find it usefull! Anyway, nice image :) -

What do you like?
I like the colours and find it pops.

the only thing i would change is the white background as it drowns out the subtle differences in the pink across the petals.
shreya100@barrington I understand what you are trying to say and I have no idea why it looks like that. I'll try being more careful in the future
