What do you like?
I like the colors ,the two colorfull elements and the cloths are a good complement in the composition ,good use of the light and shades here, nice portrait .I love how you got the right light highligting the model good capture

i think highlited the face model and a good exposure it would be nice to get that model stand up ,i think the blue comes from the light you set here-but i like the shot

Thank you! I will try your white balance suggestion. I'm going to be shooting in the same environment next month so being armed with a venue strategy is helpful. My tendency is to shoot black and white under these conditions so it's nice to have other options especially when the image is more conducive to colour.

What do you like?
The pose and the action are great. I like the capture of similar colors in the scarf/fan and the bra top.

The skin tone is blue. Maybe play around with white balance on this unless that is what you were aiming for. A portrait aspect may also be good if it's possible.

Part of the issue, and wondering if there are any other options, I shoot burlesque performance so I have no control over the environment. The lighting in this particular scenario was very low, wasn't able to use a flash, and couldn't increase the shutter speed, and the ISO was pushed to the max... are there any other alternatives? -

What do you like?
Love the concept. the pose is great and the movement in the fan is really effective. I think you have a great model here.

The only problem for me is the noise. A slightly longer shutter speed and lower ISO could have helped.
