What do you like?
The Saturation, the subdued colors and the PoV.
16 SeptemberWhat would you improve?
A slightly larger DoF would have been nice.

What do you like?
Gives the impression of movement - very interesting composition.
4 SeptemberWhat would you improve?
I think a less "busy" background. The house is a little distracting.

What do you like?
Nice! Slightly creepy, the tilt, the muted colours and illusion that the swings are in motion make me feel like this could very well be an innocent introduction to a more sinister scene - I love that to me your photograph tells a story.
4 SeptemberWhat would you improve?
Not much - I think I might try burning out the larger white blurred/bokeh area that might have once been the chimney (?) to my eyes its slightly distracting since its so close to your subject.
I really like how this is such a simple shot but so so well done. -

What do you like?
This is a beautiful photo. I love the angle in which you chose to shoot it, it made me think that the swings were really swinging.
4 SeptemberWhat would you improve?
I would just like to know how you've acquired the blurry background and if it was in post production...

What do you like?
The beautiful light and use of DoF.
2 SeptemberWhat would you improve?
Try to darken the window frame...it would be less distracting.
sepiashuttersThank you all for your comments :) I'm glad you're enjoying it.
6 September@mblum4 interesting. for this photo I wanted to capture my current longing for spring, a forlorn desire; I would understand though if I was trying to capture happiness, or life. then it would work, but it just wasn't what I wanted when I took the photo.
@baysimit It was done in the moment, post-production. Firstly I used manual focus to get the exact Depth of Field I wanted, and then I raised the apeture to get the bokeh well-rounded for the background. Hopefully you understand that.
@AlexandraLauren @Emily @Steebo Thanks for pointing that out. I'll see what I can do to cut it out of the picture.
