What do you like?
The jury is still out for me as to whether I actually like wind turbines but this image really works for me. The composition is the key to that. Deep green base for the image with the white turbines cutting the horizon and a threatening sky behind. Well done.
What would you improve?
It might work also as a panorama with less of the clouds shown but I'm not suggesting that would improve the image, merely a different crop option.

Revision made following feedback to increase the contrast in the sky - Thanks for all the suggestions

What do you like?
The color contrast on the front of an approaching storm is striking. The storm clouds represent another type of power maybe we will sometime in the future find a way to harvest. Very nice capture.
What would you improve?
I live the subtle juxtaposition if the thunderhead one if natures power plants against the modern windmill generator. Sean has a point about cropping the cloud out but I love the enormity of the clouds against the machines. If there was something next to windmills to show how really big they are, the size of the cloud would be even more dramatic. To shorten the pic I would take off the first green field up to what looks like taller grass or plants.

What do you like?
Neat photo. I really like the white windmills against the stormy sky. The photo is well composed, well cropped and provides for an interesting photo. I also like the texture of the clouds.
What would you improve?
One improvement I would like to see would have been a bolt of lightning in the background, but obviously this isn't always easy to capture. You can also crop some off the top of the photo. I believe this photo is a tad too tall. Cropping the photo would put more emphasis on the windmills & stormy back ground.

otinkyadThanks Sean. I've posted a revision with increased contrast in the sky - but I've not cropped the top because I really like the cloud.

What do you like?
I like how the windmills stand out against the rainy background and I like the green grass leading to them. The storm behind this shot is a great background.
What would you improve?
Choosing to fill the frame with the sky as you did here can work well. However the problem is that the top and right sides of the sky are featureless, gray space. To fix that I'd either suggest A) reducing the highlights and increasing the contrast and clarity of the picture to bring out the details in the clouds or B) cropping some of the top out to focus the shot more on the windmills below.
Hope that helps-
otinkyadThanks Luke. I've posted a revision with greater contrast in the sky in response to your comments. I could have gone further but I didn't want it to be too unnatural.

otinkyadThanks Rick. See revised image. By the way there are some buildings near the base of the turbines but they are relatively so small that you can only really see them if you pixel peep at the high res version.
