I really like the de-saturated look to this image and the expression of the model. The catch lights in the eyes are always crucial for a portrait and they are captured wonderfully.
17 NovemberWhat would you improve?
I think I would bring some of the colour back to the eyes just to draw the attention to them more. The style of the image lends itself to being distressed a bit to give a mix of old and new, but that's just me. Overall well done.

Eyes. Wow. Those slightly open lips... mmmm... f8 keeps every thing tack sharp which is very appealing with this shot. Finally the catch lights round this photo out impressively.

I would probably have her hair tamed just slightly. Not too much.

Nice portrait. The desaturation of colours is a nice touch and I really like the eye contact. Hairstyle here is a good choice.

It's a little "shaded".. For a high key over exposed background the subject's face has to be "lighted up". Cropping needs to be reconsidered. What's the point of interest you're trying to show the viewers? Is her dress important to the picture? Can it be cropped out allowing a tighter frame around her face? How about a smile? You have a very beautiful model with a seductive expression... a smile may just lighten the mood to the photo. Just my two cents worth. Hope it helps.

Skinsfan@zamilphotos thanks for your comment and suggestions. This is only one image out of a session with this model most of the images taken were for a makeup artist so lots of images in tight of only her face and bare skin around the shoulders. I did take a few shots just for me and this is one of them.

Lighting is right on! Nice high key photo.

I would've increased DOF slightly because the lower lace is in focus but not the lace around her neck. However, the slight out-of-focus around her neck does accentuate her face.
