- What a long two weeks... Back a bit ago after traveling last week and driving on the track for a few days after... Today, I was back and processing images against a deadline. But - I thought I'd take a minute and post this one from earlier. The weather today has been from wild (snow?) to mild (the sun was out again?)..
Anyway - I owe many of you some comments, replies to your wonderful posts and feedback - so, I apologize again for being late with those. But for now - I hope this image suffices for a bit... Taken with my Sony NEX 7 and the SEL1018 lens, RAW, PP in LR.
I like the bright morning feel, the freshness of the image and the light reflected in the water18 April 2014
Wonderful depth in this image. Well balanced foreground / mid-ground and background elements. Razor sharp and will look awesome on canvas. Absolutely love the splash of colour from those buoys hanging on the shed. Nice mottled reflection in the water in that area as well.17 April 2014
With the new boat we have running from Yarmouth NS to Portland ME and if I get lucky enough to find gainful employment in the region I just may have to make a trip to Portsmouth this summer or early fall.
Kudos on a photo well done John and to get it hanging in public view... the best feeling ever.
Hi John. May I be the first to welcome you back and complement you on a great shot. Once more the detail and color are terrific. I suspect that if you were able to upload a bigger shot I could read the name of the boat. The level of detail in the foreground grass, the mid-ground boat and lobster shack and the city in the distance are all right on. It has the preciseness of multi-focus composite all in one shot. Hope we will see more shots from your travels.17 April 2014
