On another note, I've been really lax at providing feedback and critiques lately. I apologize - but will start to do so again when I get a bit caught up.. And to @skypilot ?? You are amazing ;) My thanks..!
For Joe.. All the dirt cleaned up - and de-noised (you crack me up about the noise ;) I like it - but - it's not for everyone I guess ;)?? Best to you!

Flower photos aren't really my thing, so aesthetically this shot doesn't "ring my bell" (sorry John), but as a technical/scientific study of an object the image is very successful. The detail is excellent and (obviously) the technical aspects are spot on.Helpful 1 3 June 2014
I find it interesting that the precison and acuity of an excellent lens still comes over when reproduced on screen at a mere 0.9 megaoixels.
Amazing......no. I believe we should live by a quote of Maya Angelou. "I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back." Great shot by the way. Beautiful detail with that Zuiko lens.2 June 2014
