- On a recent photo shoot with my local camera club we had a model accompany us around some lakes.
I tried to take some less posed shots, this is one of my favourites, it has been processed in Lightroom, I need to learn a lot more before I can get shots like this straight out of the camera.
- lake trees Model ducks
Nice moment captured there, Mike. The main thing I think it needs is fill light on the model's face and neck. Her eyes are all but lost in shadow and her well-illuminated nose is like unto a beacon in the nighttime of her countenance.15 August 2014
Really a wonderful composition and post processing Mike!!! A couple of small things to think about next time ;)Helpful 1 7 August 2014
You Point of View might have been a bit lower, which would have had the subject (the model - well, that the subject I'm focused on, anyway ;) ) in a closer horizontal plane to the ducks.. As well, a slightly higher ISO would have delivered a longer focal plane, bring the "rear of the rear duck" right in...
Actually - I really like this candid shot.. It appears "un-posed" and spur of the moment.. The composition and the framing is well done too..!!
Best to you!
