What do you like?
This is a brilliant capture! Perfect timing, soiled face adds character, lovely frame!
What would you improve?
If you include the story you narrated to Maria about the boy, it will give more insight into the picture.. :)

What do you like?
I love everything about this picture!!! It's raw and beautiful! You captured a great moment, love his expression and the subtle smile.
What would you improve?
The background could be a bit cleaner but I know you don't have much control over that when working the fields. Love this picture! Thanks for sharing!

Actually, my wonderful bride (I can call her that still after 20+ years) are very vested in Haiti - and I travel there frequently and have so when we built our first orphanage there in 2007.
And since then - have built a few schools there and such. We are not part of any "church" or "mission" or anything - and I'm certainly no Pastor, nor preacher - and they won't let me be a Rabbi - so, it's just "us". Anyway - that's separate from my "photography", even though I have thousands of images from Haiti. Some are harsh, some are hard and some are simply "wonderful".
This one above?
It is simply one wonderful young man who works each day - every day - in a forgotten village. He doesn't go to school, as there is no school (yet) in his area.
Every picture "tells a story" - so, I guess - this is "his story". I'm humbled to think he'd be in wonder and amazement that we, here - today - are discussing his image..
My best to you always - and thank you for your comments/caring!

RaMaSoOMG his eyes are so amazing! what a hard life he must live. at his age he should be able to go to school and not work. kids here in the USA think they have it so hard but these baby's in these third world countries could teach them so much!! I just wanna reach in and pick him up and hug him. I hope one day there is a school in his area!! I have no critique just wanted to Thank You for sharing it!!! Great Image!!!
