I think the problem with this shot is all down to composition. Its always nice to see some separation between the birds beak and the bird and at this angle it all kind of blends together, the bird also is looking out of the frame so it looks unbalanced to me.Helpful 1 16 January 2016
I would imagine you have cropped it to hide some of the unsightly tree to the right so understand your thought process here.
Some good feather detail in what looks like very harsh lighting conditions.
Sorry if this sounds harsh but I myself would rather someone be honest with me so I can learn from my mistakes and after all this is only my opinion.
