- This is my first night photography attempt. I've been researching different types of photography and this one struck my interest. It was taken with my D5500 on a tripod with 15 second shooting. I don't know how I could of made the moon more clear....
When shooting the moon you actually want LESS light not more. You long exposured your shot and remember the moon moves. Settings for the moon are usually give or take shutter speed 125-200 ISO 100 LENS 200MM and aperture around f11....you can play around with those settings but they are a good starting point.Helpful 1 24 February 2016
Hi heaven , I am a beginner myself so I cant really offer any technical advice. I really like the shot , the mood , the flare off the moon didn't bother me I just felt their was a lack of contrast between the sky and the trees. I had to " peer" into the photo to make them out, but a very nice photo !20 February 2016
