- An old picture from the time I was in Dresden. One of the few places I have been twice and I would not mind to visit it again. Any comment will be appreciated.

What do you like?
Like old buildings, I also like the way you managed to capture the whole building from top to bottom, a grand picture for a grand building. I really like the placing of the pedestal in the photo.
What would you improve?
I have to agree with the underexposed comment, I checked on two monitors and on both it appears a bit dark more so on my older monitor, I too tend to underexpose I prefer that kind of tone. On this image I just feel like I'm missing the building, it was initially hard to make out the pedestal I mentioned above. As for your other self critique's I probably wouldn't have noticed lol. Would like to see an exposure adjusted version though! ;)

I think that self-judging is the beginning of self-improvement. Although the photo is quite old, I hadn't noticed some issues until I uploaded it here. I was already aware of some of them, but I thought that they were unnoticable.

- There is a lot of lens barrel distortion because it is a vertorama created with the in camera function.
- Crummy editing around the sky in order to reduce the halo.
- Depending on the monitor and the angle I look at it, it seems to be quite underexposed. Anyway, I tend to underexpose my photos, but I think I overdid it with this one.
Please let me know what do you think about it.
GeoPav@Spotfist Thanks for the feedback! Another "corrected" version is on its way.
24 October 2014SpotfistAwesome! What's on the pedestal is intriguing me, it looks like a book?
24 October 2014GeoPavIt is a book! Though I doubt that it is an old Gospel or religious relic. There was also a guy dressed like medieval monk/priest but my German were not so good back then to understand what he was saying. I tried to include him to the picture but there were also two persons with bright red and blue jackets next to him. I would not be surprised, if it was just an old looking guest book lol.
24 October 2014SpotfistHave you updated the pic? I'm not sure if it's just me being on another PC lol
24 October 2014GeoPavIt is you on another PC! Does it look any better on this one? lol
25 October 2014I guess this is why some people pay so much attention on monitor calibrating. Personally I do not! lol
SpotfistIt did loom a bit better but I noticed this morning on my phone that it was still dark lol I don't bother on monitor calibration either.
