Hi @squiggles1 11 March 2015
Honestly? This image has some amazing potential - and if you don't mind - I'd love to post up in your thread "what I see".. It's a bit different then your image above - and it changes a few dynamics within the image itself. What I did was throw the right third line to his back, and cropped a bit and then added a bit more dimension by adding to the right of the image - and as well - took it for a horizontal ride by about 10%. That lets the viewer see exactly what I think you "saw"..
For that - you have a terrific eye for composition - and the visual message in your image is wonderful, has impact - and frankly - is amazing. Nicely done!
As well, and I hope you don't take offense, but following - this is a quick 10 second rework of a "screen capture" @ 72 DPI so you can see what I think Mike (@Flyer01) and I know I see..
My best and my thanks - and yep - I love your image at several levels....
Hi squiggles. Another thought invoking shot. Personally I prefer to see more space in front of the focal point (the person) than behind. It would be good to know what camera and settings you are using. Nice shot. Mike.Helpful 1 10 March 2015
