It is a nice photo. I think that with a few adjustments it can become better.9 July 2015
1. I would crop from the left until the hanging hand is off. I do not know if it is possible to have some more of the potter's body. The way he leans over, would make a stronger impression of his attention to his work. Otherwise crop from the bottom as much as you think, in order to have a good aspect ratio.
2. Because the depth of field is to deep, a lot of my attention falls on the guy with the camera. I suggest to burn/darken the background of the image. This way the potter will be much more evident and gain the attention he deserves.
I like this shot of a craftsman at work. It is a very candid and authentic shot with the artist completely focused on his work.8 July 2015
