    What do you like?

    I like the idea of this, nice colours and strong composition

    What would you improve?

    No crow shadows (I know would spoil the lovely grass), perhaps also more vignetting at the top too, well he is bringing darkness, so bring the darkness!!

    I agree about the birds, but there are some in front of the woods. They blend in to the trees too good. I maybe shouldn't have mentioned crows in tags, flying demons are bigger and would maybe fit the picture better :D

    Very nice incrustation and also, cool color processing that gives a real atmosphere to this dark mood shot.
    The only thing I would say is that the birds should also be present in front of the trees (lower in the frame) because of the perspective that makes them a little big —here— if they are at a distance.

    About the manipulation, the birds are all added afterwards from another picture and the colours "fixed" for dramatic effect, hope it works. The shadow is me, camera hanging on my neck with timer (love the wide-angle lens).

    Very cool!! :) So looking at your link, were the birds not in the shot at some point? Was that two different shots merged together? Or did you take one/a few birds and duplicate them?
