What lenses are you using?
I'm wondering what kind of lenses you're using. This is my lens set:
Tamron 28 - 75mm F2.8 (Not rock solid, but very sharp!)
Tokina 11-16mm F2.8 (Love it)
Canon 70-200mm F4 (Prefer F2.8, but it's very good!)
I use these lenses on my Canon EOS 40D.
So, what are you using? :-)

I shoot with a Canon 400D (Rebel Xti). I should probably upgrade my camera body, but whenever I get that money saved up a new lens seems like a better investment.

My camera Kodak Easy z915has 50 -350 lens ,but it has infinity auto Focus for landscape and has high ISO .It uses fast shutter speed high and Iso and its excelent for Macro and close up-it has an optical zoom 10 x -wide angle Zoom and Telephoto lever, but thinking to buy Nickon or Canon ,I beleive are the best for what I do regularly -fI miss my reflex camera Nikon 401 AF,I t was my first camera -and I studied with a professor from National Geofgraphic Magazine ,he was my first teacher in Photography -He was my mentor in this art ,we would organize expositions and themes to treat as lighting, the color white and black and many subjects -it was my introduction to a new life when the Digital came it was a recvolution and I developed a good style images in landscape ,and specially macro photography,, welcome everybody,-the reason I love this site is what watch every day every photo ,teachs me something about it ,,and I really appreciate the feedback as we learnt finally -

For my nikon D7000 I have the nikkor 24-120mm, an old nikkor 75-240mm, and an older then me manual focus nikkor 50mm f/1.8 which is by far my favourite lens of the three and practically lives on my camera.

Does anyone have experience with lenses developing diffraction as they get older? My 75-240mm is a great lens at about the first half of its zoom (~75-130mm) and more or less at any aperture, but no matter what aperture I'm at as soon as I start to zoom I get a very soft image (I've experimented with using tripods, monopods, and remote shutters to cut down on the possibility the soft focus was due to human error and my unsteady hands). This lens sat on a self for about 8 years and I picked it up to use about a year ago, but I didn't expect it to age so quickly. Comparing images from a year ago and now at the same aperture and similar zoom factors you can see a huge difference in their quality. If this is just the lens aging are there any tricks to slow down that process? I'll use this lens 'til its dying day, but I'd like to be able to use it to it's full extent for at least another year... -

Canon 70-200mm F4 - love this lens for color, DOF, and sharpness.
Canon 50mm F1.8 - hardly use it now.
Using it on my Canon XT (17,000 shots so far). I need upgrades soon this year.
I am currently wanting to buy a wide. Looking at the Sigma's. -

@hajagosb The Sigma 24 f/1.8 is an old lens and absolutely nowhere near the standard of their latest range of 1.4's - it's a real shame that the 30mm isn't full frame. If you're looking to go ultra-wide then the Samyang 14mm f/2.8 might be worth considering; The obvious choice for a fast 24 would be the Nikon 24m f/1.4 but it has a hefty price tag (as does Canon's, although they also do f/2 for a more realistic price)
26 February 2012
However, why are you asking for full frame when you're existing Tamron & Sigma lenses are for APS-C sensors? ... unless you are definitely changing to full frame you should check out the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 which is an excellent lens; if you are upgrading though be sure to account that your existing 50mm on a full frame will be almost equivalent to 30mm on APS-C -

Sigma 50-150 2.8 (until it broke a few month ago)
The next will be a Nikon 180 2.8 to replace my broken tele. Any suggestion for a full frame wide angle prime? Also I'm thinking about the Sigma 24 1.8...
