Beauty Dish

I am using these as a diffused reflector now for some photography and really enjoy the results. My dish is small 12" or so and very light so I can carry well walking about(velcro flash straps hang it off my bag). I have a florescent light cover siliconed on the face and this diffuses/softens the light very well.

this is an article on making your own. I went even more basic - used a CD as the reflector inside, I did not use anything to hold the flash to the dish besides velcro - would beef this up next time.
