Notice of intent
Given the fact that no one here is going to make a living out of what we post here.If they were they would not be giving it away for free in this forum.
If one looks at the concept on which this club is based.........its a learning curve to some degree. And that concept raises some questions..............do we as members always expect i like this....gush again in that i like this....Pat ourselves on the back and march off into never land because we got a silver star???
Or do we as members embrace comments that at the time might not be what we expected to hear and ...grow.I personally have learnt more about photography by others better than me at the time commenting on what i did wrong and not so much as what i did right.
As this is what i believe in i will comment on all shots posted.I will view the image as posted and to the best of my ability try and temper my comments at and to a level in which the work is submitted.
So too all that will post personal attacks cause they never got a gold star........To quote a catering maxum,,,,,,,,,,,,,If you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen. For me its simple............no photographer of note has ever had to justify the image.......most times he has to mark time untill society catches up with him.........The image will always dictate its destiny

When i started I didn't even know what was right or wrong. So to that efect, positive comments can be learned from as well. Perhap I didn't even mean to do what was stated as being good. I will then know to try to do that again. Helpful comments to improve are alway welcome.

The only reason I started posting photo's here is to get criticism so that I can learn from that. As long as it isn't insulting I'm fine with it. But the goal is to learn, so criticism stating that you don't like it is not very helpfull unless you explain why. If the issue is taste than say so but it's hard to learn something from that.

Every comment and critic may be helpful, adoring or of satirize. Except not include any type of insult and swearword. Art is some kind of freedom area. Artist must not pay attention or regard to any comments or critics. But it's the common idea that critics may facilitate artist's performance. I am trying to be happy by sharing my works with you all and geting any type of comment and critic without insult.

compliments are nice to get once as it shows appreciation for the efforts put in. But I agree that you can only improve from making mistakes. Photography is appreciated differently by different people... and I think that what makes this activity challenging. I enjoy constructive feedback and I will try my best to revise a photo IF the advise is doable.

the more critical comments, the better... while we do that, lets skip the 'cut puppy'-comments
