Printing Photos
Hey Guys, was wondering if anybody knew of a place I can print photographs off without having to alter my crop. I want to be able to print them off as I like them and not the standard, 7x5 etc.
Also I find that when I do get my photographs printed, they always look darker than on screen, I understand why this is, but does anybody know of a way to scale the compensation in exposure that is needed?

I don't know about the printing options, I've had trouble with that as well. Its tough to find a place that gets it exactly right.

For the second part of your question though, instead of adjusting your exposure on every picture by a certain amount before you print it (which could be very fiddly and take a lot of experimentation for each different photo) you could try celebrating your monitor so the colours you see on screen are more true to the colours you get after the photograph is printed.
The following is an article that is written expressly to answer the question: "Why are my prints to dark?" this article then links to some other useful articles that will tell you more about celebrating colour on your screen.
