I was born at a very early age and was close to my Mother at the time.
Seriously, after life in the mechanical engineering field in various companies, including the Broken Hill Pty Ltd Steel Works at Newcastle, NSW, Australia, I joined the Australian Army as a Fitter/Armourer and then as a Marine Engineer on small craft.
After leaving the army I remained with the Department of Defence for many years as General Engineering Inspector until redundancy forced me into retirement.
I now live the life of a laid back gentleman of leisure as an Aged Pensioner in the beautiful town of Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia. (The place where God rested on the seventh day).
I am an active photographer and member of the Port Macquarie Panthers Camera Club and hold the positon of Print Steward. I have a deep and abiding passion for photography and claim B&W street photography as one of my favourite genres, the other being close-up nature studies.
