I like light (and in the correct amount, the lack of it too), and I sincerely do not believe that the tool that can capture what light projects in our retinas and brains will ever be available so I just shoot away with the, probably unrealised, hope of being able to transmit to others what I get to feel.
...Good old Crosby, Stills and Nash had a song ("Camera") in the 90s (check it in Spotify or similar) with this beautiful strophe
"And I wish I were a camera
And I could slice time like a knife
Seeing stories in the faces
And crystallizing life"
(C) Crosby, Still and Nash
In taking pictures we all just try to slice a portion of time, unrepeatable, and full of light, sounds, smells and emotions. In a way, we all wish we were cameras. I do.
I have a very humble set of pictures to share, just of the things, places and people I live with and love, I hope to get better at it and hope you enjoy.
